Vivian's essential must have: Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow

 

I cannot live without the Maybelline Color Tattoos. With my oily eyelids it is impossible to keep an eye shadow from creasing without an eye shadow base. The eye shadow primers that hold up for over sixteen hours tend to be quite expensive (brands such as Too Faced, Urban Decay and MAC retail for over £15).

 

The Maybelline Color Tattoos retail for £4.99 and come in a range of different colours, from which I own three: On and on Bronze, Pink Gold and Permanent Taupe.

 

My all-time favourite is On and on Bronze, which is a gorgeous metallic taupe, bronze colour. You can wear this one on its own, pair it with a winged eyeliner, some mascara and you’re good to go. You can also wear an eye shadow on top, so that the Maybelline Color Tattoo functions as an eye shadow base. I’m not too sure the eye shadow will last for 24 hours – as Maybelline claims it will – but it will definitely hold up for a good sixteen hours.
